Assurance for what you build with AI.

For AI products, integrations and internal systems. We test how they behave under real operational pressure, then coordinate legal review by appropriately qualified counsel admitted in the relevant jurisdiction.

Our engagements

Start with the decision that matters.

Choose a focused check, a wider assurance programme or an independent expert instruction. Scope follows the risk, not a fixed package.

Ground Truth Legal assurance and coordination fees are agreed in advance by reference to the value of the engagement. Any lawyer or law firm is separately retained and agrees its own scope and fee with the client. Expert appointments are accepted only after qualification, independence and conflicts checks, at a non-contingent time-based rate. The expert controls the analysis and complies with any overriding duty to the tribunal or court.

What we establish

What does the evidence show, and what does qualified counsel conclude about the law that applies?

Ground Truth Legal examines outputs, tools, state, permissions, data flows, documentation and customer claims. Any legal conclusion is issued by the separately retained lawyer or law firm responsible for it.

The method

Four questions. Kept separate.

  1. 01

    Observe

Run the system blind and preserve what it actually says, does and creates.

  2. 02

    Compare

Test observed behaviour against the defined claim or specification and preserve the evidence for legal review.

  3. 03

    Assess

Map potential safety, confidentiality, operational and legal issues for appropriately qualified counsel to assess.

  4. 04

    Explain

Separate confirmed causes from hypotheses that still require engineering review.

The team

The team follows the risk.

We assemble lawyers, AI architects and technical specialists around the system, jurisdiction, industry and intended use.

Counsel is selected for the relevant jurisdiction and subject matter and must satisfy applicable professional admission and standing requirements. AI architecture credentials and talent-network vetting are additional indicators, not substitutes for professional qualification.

Relevant technical team members hold Claude Certified Architect credentials at Foundations (CCAR-F) or Professional (CCAR-P) level and/or have been admitted to and vetted by an international legal talent network such as Legal Quants.

Ground Truth Legal

Defines the scope, assembles the team, runs the testing and integrates the evidence.

Qualified counsel

Applies the relevant law and issues any legal memorandum under its own name and professional responsibility.

Technical specialists

Examine architecture, tools, permissions, data flows and reproducible system behaviour.

Clear engagement boundary. Where jurisdiction-specific legal advice is required, the client separately retains the selected lawyer or law firm under that counsel’s own terms. Ground Truth Legal coordinates the workstreams and combined delivery. Counsel determines the appropriate engagement structure, including any position on confidentiality or legal privilege.

The evidence package

Built to be challenged.

Not a vague score. A record that founders, engineers, counsel, buyers and tribunals can examine.
